Specially commissioned by Aurora company owner Cesare Verona, the Optima 360 Monviso is available in just 360 numbered pieces worldwide, of which an even smaller number are being distributed in the United States. We have managed to secure just a very few of these pens for our customers, after which no more will be available.

Monviso is the highest peak in the Cottian Alps, the mountain range which serves as the backdrop for the city of Torino, home of Aurora Pens since the company's founding in 1911. The cap and barrel have been produced in handcrafted Auroloide, Aurora's proprietary celluloid derivation. The speckled black and white pattern references both Monviso's snowy, rock-strewn peak.
Aurora's generous piston-fill system allows this pen to use any bottled fountain pen ink. A transparent ink window gives you a glimpse into your writing instrument so you know when it's time for a refill. Each Aurora Optima 360 Monviso Limited Edition fountain pen is individually numbered on the cap. The silver inscription matches the rhodium plating on the clip and bands.
Aurora nib units are designed to be easily interchangeable and available separately.
