Visconti's inspiration for the Torpedo model is grounded in the "Boldismo" design movement of the 1980's, which was itself inspired by 1930's Streamline Moderne. Cobalt blue carbon graphite is used for the body of this pen, interspersed with clear resin for the demonstrator section of the barrel and fine metal work wrapped around the entire pen body.
The pen fills using Visconti's renowned Double Reservoir Power Fill system, which provides for a high capacity and allows the use of any bottled fountain pen ink. A special presentation box unique to this edition adds to the pen's value and collectibility.
