Vintage Parker Duofold Junior Red c. 1924-1927
This Parker Duofold Jr. has had an interesting history. Born around 1924, as indicated by the "Lucky Curve" banner and large black "DUOFOLD JR" imprint on the red hard rubber barrel, at some point it must have needed a new cap. The replacement Duofold Jr. red cap is from a slightly later period of manufacture, c. 1927, in a slightly darker red color, and made out of what Parker called "Permanite"— a durable celluloid material that had just then come into prominence in pen manufacturing.
This pen is in Good condition with no cracks, and a very nice, also later-era solid gold, slightly stubby Fine point Duofold nib. The pen shows brassing on the pocket clip but not on the double cap bands. It has been professionally engraved with the name BRETTE L. STEVENS.
A unique and historical curiosity with its mismash of materials, colors, and manufacturing minutiae, this fully restored pen is a wonderful writing instrument with a crisp and juicy ink flow.
This pen is perfect for anyone seeking a durable and pocket-friendly writer, but especially perfect for a connoisseur of the vintage, one-off, and funky: we are confident there is nothing else quite like it out there.

Unless otherwise requested, this pre-owned Parker Duofold Junior Red fountain pen will be fully tested and then tuned to your own personal writing preferences before shipping.
As a rule, our optional nib customizations are not recommended for a pen of this caliber and vintage. If you have a strong preference for a specific nib style, please include this in your order notes. The workshop will determine if we can accommodate your request.
