Vintage Conklin Endura Senior Black c. 1924
The Conklin Endura was the flagship model of the brand in the 1920s; this is their largest-size version, the Endura Senior. Known for their solid, muscular, and (relatively speaking) enormous gold nibs, Conklin pens have become one of the most collectible of vintage pens from the golden age of U.S. manufacturing.
This Endura Senior in black polished ebonite with red bands has been professionally engraved with the name "LEO FASCHING." The firm Fine nib writes smoothly with pencil-like feedback, and performs well from almost any angle of rotation— making this pen a great candidate for lefties, or writers with unorthodox gripping angles.
This pen has been fully restored with a fresh 1.75ml bladder for many, many pages of writing sessions. There is some brassing on the cap band, clip, and lever, but overall this pen is in Very Good condition. The nib is in Excellent condition.

Unless otherwise requested, this pre-owned Conklin Endura Senior Black fountain pen will be fully tested and then tuned to your own personal writing preferences before shipping.
As a rule, our optional nib customizations are not recommended for a pen of this caliber and vintage. If you have a strong preference for a specific nib style, please include this in your order notes. The workshop will determine if we can accommodate your request.
