Solid 14K Gold Pencil Engraved "PANCHO"
This solid 14K gold pencil is engraved "PANCHO" in the indicia panel. Known as a lumber pencil this type was used to mark wet lumber. It is doubtful if this one was used that way as it is in near-mint condition. The style of pencil as well as the imprint suggests that it was made in the 1920's. It was found in the Hollywood area and was probably offered as a gift. At 34 grams and a length of 5.75" this pencil was sure to have impressed.
