Sheaffer Lifetime Statesman in Golden Pearl Celluloid Stripe PreOwned
This fully restored Sheaffer's Statesman Lifetime pen and pencil set is complete with the original box. Dating from Ca. 1947, this is the vacuum fill model with the remarkable conical Triumph upswept two-tone nib. It has an ultra-smooth medium point. Both instruments are professionally engraved, "RDM" on the middle gold bands. The striated golden pearl celluloid is crisply imprinted, "W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO., FORT MADISON, IOWA, U.S.A. MADE IN USA, 1000". The pencil has the same imprint and ends with "400". The number designation was the original sales price leaving no question at the point of sale.
This Sheaffer Lifetime, white dot, pen and pencil set was a top-of-the-line flagship model when it was sold. It is in excellent condition with a fully restored filling system. It is from the Mottishaw collection.
