This is a full but not over-sized pen that will be a comfortable fit for most users. Note he transparent ink window, pictured below, which conveniently allows you to know when it's time for a refill.

 


Fountain pens have often been identified by a mark or symbol on the cap end. Sailor continues this tradition - the venerable Sailor anchor logo is embedded in the cap top in gold-plated brass. With the Pro Gear II, Sailor has also updated the cap end, with the anchor logo encased in a raised, clear bubble to create more of a rounded effect.


Notice that Sailor has kept the two narrow bands, one above the engraved cap band and another at the top of the section, from the classic Professional Gear line.
The Pro Gear II Realo in Black with gold trim is made available by Sailor with your choice of two-tone 21k nib.
