The Autumn Sky is the second in a series of special edition pens inspired by the poetic imagery found in "The Pillow Book" by Heian era poet Sei Shōnagon. This pioneering poet, who also served as a lady-in-waiting to the Emperess Teishi, has now been revered by lovers of Japanese poetry for over a thousand years.

Beyond its inspiration taken from the brown-red skies of an autumn sunset, this is an eminently practical and versatile fountain pen with all the quality and style Sailor is known for. The pen can fill with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter, and can also use convenient Sailor brand disposable ink cartridges, now available in more than thirty different carefully nuanced colors.

Each pens ships in a special presentation box which includes the converter, a certificate of authenticity, and a starter pack of two ink cartridges. We are an authorized Sailor dealer.
