Sailor King of Pen Blue Urushi Silver
The King of Pen Blue Urushi Silver fountain pen is handcrafted from ebonite and Urushi lacquer and comes standard with a 21k solid gold nib.
Part of Sailor's exclusive Bespoke Collection, the King of Pen Blue Urushi brings a deep navy finish to this more than full-sized fountain pen, comparable in size to the Montblanc 149. It is handcrafted from high quality ebonite and then finished with up to twelve coats of blue Urushi lacquer to produce lustrous color and shine. Urushi lacquer has been used as a decorative material since Japan's Jomon period (two thousand years ago).
This is a pen with a large presence. Its rounded cap ends and streamlined shape provide excellent balance in the hand, and the Sailor 21k nib is renowned for its smooth writing capabilities.
Sailor's King of Pen Blue Urushi fountain pen comes packaged in a wooden presentation box that is lined in matching satin and includes a complimentary bottle of ink. The pen accepts either a standard Sailor converter or Sailor's cartridges.
