The Sailor Barcarolle Matte Black Gold delivers some added heft to Sailor's midsize pen offerings. Using the same 14k solid gold nibs as Sailor 1911 Midsize and Pro Gear Slim pens, but with caps and barrels made of solid brass, this study in matte finish and gold trim promises to become a mainstay of Sailor's regular offerings. Normally made available only in Fine or Medium, we can provide this pen with the full range of Sailor 14k solid gold nibs.
The eggshell black surface of this pen contrasts with the warm gold trim.
The solid brass cap and barrel are what adds to the solidity to this Sailor Barcarolle fountain pen which snap together securely with Sailor's clutch system. A definite click lets you know that the cap is secure and it opens with just the right amount of pull.
Sailor's anchor logo is beautifully engraved on the crown of the cap letting you know at a glance what is in the top of your pocket.
