Pre-Owned Montblanc Louis XIV Patron of Art Gold Vermeil Limited Edition 4810 c. 1994
From John Mottishaw's private collection, this gloriously shiny Montblanc Louis XIV Patron of Art fountain pen is number 926 of the first small edition of 4810 in 1994. The yellow gold vermeil over .925 sterling silver gives this pen an eye-catching luster and a pleasant heft in the hand. A repeating pattern of engraved flowers and ribbons adorns the cap and barrel. The nib, which is accented with a heart-shaped breather hole and an engraved ribbon motif, has a generous Medium point with a slight upturn at the tip. During a dip test it wrote with a deliciously wet and juicy line.
It is in Mint condition and comes complete with original inner and outer boxes and all the papers. It is immaculate.

Unless otherwise requested, this pre-owned Montblanc Louis XIV Patron of Art Gold Vermeil Limited Edition 4810 c. 1994 fountain pen will be fully tested and then tuned to your own personal writing preferences before shipping.
As a rule, our optional nib customizations are not recommended for a pen of this caliber and collectibility. If you have a strong preference for a specific nib style, please include this in your order notes. The workshop will determine if we can accommodate your request.
