The finish in benikabairo, literally "traditional red color," adds to the unique appearance of this pen.
As with all Izumo series pens, this is a cartridge-converter pen able to use either the supplied converter or Platinum brand cartridges. Each pen is hand-crafted in a process that requires months to be completed.
The pen ships in a special paulownia soft wood presentation box and includes a pen kimono and complimentary bottle of ink.
