Platinum 3776 Century #1 Black Gold
The 3776 Century Black Gold is the flagship of Platinum's most popular pen series. Exemplifying the elegance of design, superb writing qualities, and extraordinary value expected from the Platinum brand, this is a highly versatile pen equally suitable for home, office, or studio.
It can be filled with bottled fountain pen ink, and can also use Platinum brand ink cartridges. Hand-painted Maki-e converters are also available. Like all Century series pens, the Black Gold utilizes Platinum's "Slip and Seal" design, which tightly seals the cap and promises to keep ink as fresh in the pen as it is in the bottle.
Also available with a true double-slit Music nib in the Century Black Gold Music Pen. Platinum 14k nibs are well-suited to customizations including Stub, Cursive Italic, and Left Oblique, as well as the modification for added flex - see our nib customizations page for more information.
The Century Black Pen comes attractively packaged in a blue presentation case and includes converter and a starter ink cartridge.
