"Kumpoo" means balmy breeze, and the turquoise color and etched surface of this pen are inspired by a vision of skyward-reaching tree branches blowing in the wind on an early summer day. The serial number is engraved on the cap top, which also includes an enclosed metal part designed to resemble the outline of Mt. Fuji.
Normally furnished with only limited nib choices, we are able to provide this pen with your choice from among the full range of Platinum Century 14k solid gold rhodium-plated nibs, including Ultra Extra Fine and Medium Soft nibs being made available only with this limited edition.
The Kumpoo is a cartridge-converter pen - it can fill using Platinum brand ink cartridges, or any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the special rhodium-plated ink converter provided free of charge. A starter ink cartridge, user manual, warranty certification, and blotter card exclusive to the Kumpoo are also included.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts optimum pressure and ink flow to your own personal preferences to give you the best possible writing experience. Platinum 14k nibs also serve as excellent starting points for many of our exclusive nib customizations, including, when the Fine Soft nib is chosen, our well-known Mottishaw Spencerian modification. We are an authorized Platinum dealer.
