Pilot Ishime Burgundy
The Pilot Ishime Burgundy is hand finished in stone-finish urushi lacquer over a metal cap and barrel. Each pen is equipped with your choice of Pilot #10 14k solid gold nib.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts optimum pressure and ink flow to your personal preferences, and our optional nib customizations can add to the character and distinctiveness of your writing on the page.
Stone finish Ishime is very familiar to our customers from the many Nakaya pens offered in this time-intensive technique, though Pilot chooses in this model to use metal rather than hand-turned ebonite hard rubber for the cap and barrel. Each pen must be hand-finished in a technique so exacting and time-intensive that even individual flakes of textured urushi will be adjusted on the surface of the pen.
Pilot's Ishime pens utilize a convenient cartridge-converter filling system - the pen can fill with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter, and can also use Pilot's proprietary ink cartridges. A presentation box with the converter and a starter ink cartridge is included with each pen. We are an authorized Pilot dealer.
