This pen is spectacular! I have the added flex in a fine nib and it is smooth, marvelous in feel, even and expressive.
It tolerates lousy paper; i occasionally use Staples paper - man, one step above, er, bathroom paper - and is amazing on Rhodia or other stock. I am an amateur (translation, my writing is a poor scrall) and it compensates and performs beautifully. Tears come to my eyes...simply awesome. And a bargain. Outstanding !
The modifications perfected this pen beyond anything i could have hoped for in writing.
