The Pelikan Toledo M710 celebrates the silversmithing and motif first introduced in 1931 in a M600 medium-size pen. In a day of automation and machine-made products this workmanship, inspired by a long history of hand engraving, is both beautiful as an art object and it is a superb everyday writer.

The Pelikan M710 Toledo Red fountain pen is made of high quality silver and bright red resin. It is provided with your choice of special 18k solid gold nib unit.
Standard M600 14k two-tone nib units can also be utilized in this pen and are easy to swap at home - see our Pelikan nibs page for information on purchasing additional nib units.
With a finely-engraved design of squares, circles and pelicans, the Pelikan M710 Toledo Red combines sleek silver with touches of fiery red. Each barrel sleeve is hand-engraved following the tradition of goldsmiths in Toledo, Spain. The bright red color on the cap, ends, and gripping section add an element of play to this celebration of traditional Pelikan motifs.
Similar to the M700 Toledo in size, this fountain pen will be appreciated by those who like silver. A semi-transparent grey ink window tells the writer when it's time to refill the pen with bottled ink.
"Ag 925" is engraved on the cap band, as well at the bottom of the barrel, authenticating the silver content of the metal.
A rhodium-plated Pelikan clip allows the pen to be easily affixed to a notepad or pen pocket. (Most Pelikan clips depict the head and bill of a pelican.)
