Part of Pelikan's signature Souverän series, the Pelikan M400 Green Stripe with Gold Trim is perhaps the most iconic color combination associated with the Pelikan line of fountain pens. With its green striped semi-translucent body and warm gold on the clip and ring bands, this fountain pen will seem to many the quintessential Pelikan pen.

The M400 is one of the more compact pens on the Pelikan size chart. Though relatively small, this size pen has been the workhorse of Pelikans since 1950 as it has a great presence with its close attention to trim and finish. Pelikan's reliable piston-filler system gives this pen a generous ink capacity. 

 


The Pelikan Souverän series M400 Green Stripe fountain pen is available from us with your choice of 14k two-tone nib. These 14k Pelikan nib units are well-suited to customizations including Stub, Cursive Italic, or Left Oblique, as well as the modification for added flexibility.  Many people order more than one nib in order to have different writing experiences as these nibs can be easily changed at home.
