Pelikan Souverän M1000 Black
Pelikan's piston-filler M1000 fountain pen in black is the flagship of the Souverän series. With large interchangeable M1000 nib units and a high capacity filling system, this pen makes an every-day writer for those with big hands or those who just love big pens that deliver lots of ink. This pen is known as a workhorse with great style, reliability, and durability.
This is a pen for users who enjoy a more than full-sized pen. The M1000 actually writes very differently than the slightly smaller M800; this nib is larger, the tines are longer, and it is naturally semi-flexible due to its size. If you write with medium to heavy pressure you will find that this pen delivers plenty of ink flow for you (an attribute of the semi-flexible nib). The juicy ink flow is too much for some people.
Note the Pelikan logo, etched into the cap crown. The pelican is in the nest feeding the single young bird. This logo or a variation of it has been in use for more than 86 years.
