Rich dark Midori-tamenuri, with its luminous green under-layer, is a particularly challenging and time-intensive finish - Nakaya's skilled artisans in the traditional center of urushi lacquerware in Wajima on the west coast of Japan only allow the finest examples to be approved. Nakaya's hand-turned ebonite pen bodies provide the perfect canvas for this natural urushi lacquer.
Nakaya pens can be filled with any bottled fountain pen when fitted with a converter, provided by us free of charge with your order. They can also be filled using Platinum brand disposable ink cartridges. A traditionally styled softwood presentation box, cloth pen kimono, and starter pack of ink cartridges are also included.
