At first glance this pen my appear to be another Aka-tamenuri but after close examination the image of a golden dragon can be seen through the deep layers of Urushi. With its intricate detail, the Nakaya Portable Writer Aka-tamenuri Ascending Dragon fountain pen is a striking writing instrument.
Decorative rice paper, a simple solid softwood shipping box decorated with Japanese Kanji script, and a fabric pen "kimono" are all included with this pen, making it a lovely presentation item. Sensible and elegant packaging has long been a hallmark of the Nakaya brand.
