Nakaya 17mm Portable Cigar Bat in Kuro-tamenuri

The sharp shapes of the bat, with pointed wings, contrast beautifully with the round shapes of the moon and clouds.
Much maligned in historic times, the place of the bat has gained importance in our ecosystem as we realize that it eats its weight in mosquitoes and other insects each night.
As with all hand-crafted writing instruments, the reddish-black color of the finish on these pens will vary- no two will be exactly alike.
The Nakaya nib, imprinted Nakata, the family name of the manufacturer, is made of solid 14K gold. Each of these nibs is suitable for our customization to extra flexible. The medium and broad tips can be customized by us into cursive italic, stub, or oblique points.
