Machined from solid titanium in the classic Nakaya Piccolo shape, this fountain pen is cool and comfortable in the hand. The conical ends are cut to crisp edges, only attainable with this kind of metal work. One of the lightest and strongest metals, titanium offers unmatched endurance in this brilliant design.

The lightest of the noble metals, solid titanium can withstand heat, cold, distress, and abuse.
The machining and finishing process here produces a semi-matte lustrous surface.
Titanium, an element with the atomic number 22, is extremely strong and light. It can be challenging to work with, but Nakaya demonstrates here the same mastery of material as seen in its more familiar ebonite and celluloid pens. The total weight of this pen is a hefty but comfortable 55.3 grams and nothing like it would be in stainless steel or another metal.
Nakaya's policy is to ship the Piccolo Titanium pen in a simple blue presentation box. The softwood presentation box, normally complimentary with any Nakaya pen purchase, is available as an accessory with this pen for $33.00. Nakaya pens are individually handcrafted in a process that requires a minimum of three to six months and often much longer.
