The Nakaya Piccolo Cigar in Midori-tamenuri brings this popular finish to Nakaya's most compact pen model. Each pen requires up to a year to be produced.
Our complimentary nib tuning completes the pen production process by adjusting optimum pressure and ink flow to your personal writing characteristics. Optional nib customizations can also add to the character of your writing on the page - choose the Fine Soft nib for our noted Spencerian modification, or a broader nib for best results with our popular Architects Point customization.
Luminous layered Midori-tamenuri finish has quickly become a favorite among Nakaya users. The bright green under-layer will grow brighter with time as outer layer of clear urushi lacquer matures. Ebonite hard rubber, used for the cap and barrel, is a classic material for quality fountain pens - many vintage pens in this material are still in daily use a hundred years or more after being originally produced.
The pen can fill with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with a converter, provided by us free of charge with your purchase. Convenient disposable Platinum brand ink cartridges can also be used. The softwood presentation box also includes a fabric pen kimono and starter pack of cartridges.
