The response to this new design has been highly enthusiastic. One of our customers says, "This is the best shape that Nakaya has ever made." This Neo Standard comes in the clip model only. Notice that the texture does not obstruct the barrel threads. This allows the cap to smoothly screw onto the barrel.
Because this stone-finish texture is carried through to the gripping section where it is really felt, the design of this pen utilizes its tactile properties to the greatest possible extent.
Decorative rice paper, a simple solid softwood shipping box decorated with Japanese Kanji script, and a fabric pen "kimono" are all included with this pen, making it a lovely presentation item. Sensible and elegant packaging has long been a hallmark of the Nakaya brand.
