The Neo Standard is available in a range of clip and nib platings, the only external adornment visible on this fountain pen. Notice the long tapered tale of the barrel, a subtle and considered shape that is hand crafted from solid hard rubber. It fits perfectly at the back of the hand and into the web between thumb and first finger. There is no need to post this cap. This kind of simplicity is what we love about these pens.
The soft versions of these nibs are suitable for our customization to extra flexible. The larger tip sizes can be customized by us into cursive italic, stub or oblique points.
Note that Nakaya nibs run finer than Western nibs of the same named size.
Decorative rice paper, a simple solid softwood shipping box decorated with Japanese Kanji script, and a fabric pen "kimono" are all included with this pen, making it a lovely presentation item. Sensible and elegant packaging has long been a hallmark of the Nakaya brand.
