Each Nakaya pen is hand-turned from sustainably harvested ebonite at the Nakaya workshop in Tokyo, then sent for finishing in natural urushi lacquer by skilled artisans in Wajima. Final assembly occurs in Tokyo, and the nib is then set and adjusted for your personal writing characteristics at the nibs.com workshop in Los Angeles.

The Nakaya Desk Pen is a versatile writing instrument with or without an optional Desk Pen Stand. Nakaya's easy to use cartridge-converter fill system allows for the use of any bottled fountain pen ink when using the reusable converter, provided by us free of charge with your order.
