Our complimentary nib tuning completes the writing experience by adjusting pressure and ink flow to your personal preferences. Briarwood is traditionally used as the material of choice for high end pipes, and the Nakaya Briarwood Deep Gloss Pink Gold uses the same natural material for the cap and body of this beautiful writing instrument. Each pen is hand-finished by skilled artisans in the traditional urushi craft center of Wajima on the west coast of Japan.
The pen fills with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the reusable converter, provided by us free of charge with your order. For those who prefer added ease of use, it can also use Platinum brand disposable ink cartridges. A softwood presentation box with kanji-style script, cloth pen kimono, and starter pack of ink cartridges are included with your order.
