Rosso Veneziano Limited Edition
This pen celebrates Venice. The red color of the body, the four-sided flower represented on the cap band, and the lion seen on the barrel end all refer to this city. And as Venice has traditionally been known as a city of merchants, it is perhaps appropriate that this boldly colorful pen is being made available at a highly attractive price. Just 118 pieces have been produced worldwide, and we have managed to secure a small number for our customers, after which there will be no more.

A representation of the "Leone di San Marco," a centuries-old statue in Venice's Piazza San Marco, adorns the top of the cap. Once the most powerful city-state in the entire Mediterranean, Venice is a living record of that merchant state. Anyone who has been to Venice understands how inspiring this city can be, free of automobiles, crisscrossed with canals, and now threatened by rising seas.
The limited edition number is engraved in silver sterling trim on the bottom of the barrel. The Rosso Veneziano is a piston-filler fountain pen that can use any bottled fountain pen ink. The cap band, also in sterling silver, features the Montegrappa logo over a classic Venetian motif of four-petal flowers.
