Solid gold or sterling silver sprinkles cover the entire background of the  Dancing Cranes. In the case of the dark, the gold is so light that it requires close observation to see the glint. The silver is built up to represent the wet marsh on which the cranes dance as they observe the crane in flight overhead. Stylized snowflakes, enlivened with raden or mother-of-pearl, float in the space between them as well as inlaid pieces of gold.

The artist's signature is on the end cap of the barrel as well as the edition number.  We have The #20/20 in house.

This pen arrives with an eyedropper, fabric kimono, wooden pen stand, Danitrio paperwork and is contained in an ample hinged and beautifully crafted wooden presentation box.
