Danitrio Mikado Flat Top Without Clip Ao Roiro-migaki
The Danitrio Mikado without Clip in Ao Roiro-Migaki finish is a large pen that makes a strong impression.
Roiro-migaki technique utilizes a specially refined and oil-free urushi which is then burnished with a special charcoal in a process that can require several days or more. Roiro-migaki technique generally results in a brighter surface than layered Tame-nuri technique. This technique truly shows off the full-bodied Ao color shown here, a Blue-Green reminscent of tropical ocean waters.
The Mikado Flat Top without Clip in Ao Roiro-Migaki utilizes the Danitrio #8 nib. These 18k nibs are well-suited to customizations such as Cursive Italic and Left Oblique.
As with many Danitrio pens, the Maki-e artist has signed the gripping section of the pen in gold kanji lettering.
Unless requested otherwise, each pen you purchase from us will be carefully examined, tested, and optimized for your personal writing characteristics.
