Nicknamed the "Crowning Jewel" by Cross Pens, the Cross Peerless 125 Platinum Plate fountain pen lives up to its reputation as an authoritative and elegant writing instrument. With its monochromatic platinum finish and smooth-writing 18k solid gold rhodium-plated nibs, this fountain pen celebrates the Cross brand's history of innovation and style.


This new Peerless 125 series celebrates the 125th anniversary of the first Cross fountain pen, and the Platinum Plate combines elements of the original pen with elements of the iconic Cross Century line first introduced in 1935. The barleycorn platinum plating lends a tactile delight, while the black grip section provides contrast. This is a deluxe pen that still manages to remain simple and streamlined in design.

This is a full-sized and well-balanced pen, perfect for those who prefer a bit more heft and width in their writing instruments. It can use convenient Cross brand ink cartridges, or can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink using the included converter.


A round bezel jewelry setting at the end cap includes a premium faceted-cut clear Swarovski crystal.
The Cross clip allows this pen to be easily affixed to a shirt pocket, making it perfect for business meetings or a trip to the coffee shop.


The smooth-writing 18k solid gold nibs have been created specially for Cross by Sailor, one of Japan's most noted pen manufacturers. Notice the special "125" engraving on the nib for this series. 

These 18k nibs are well-suited to customizations such as Cursive Italic, Left Oblique, and our special Architect's Point modification. 
The Cross Peerless 125 Platinum Plate fountain pen ships in a luxury hinged presentation box and includes papers.
