Awai Murasaki-iro is one of three pastel colors, along with yellowish Nanohana-iro and light blue Ama-iro, that have become part of the regular selection of Nakaya finishes available here at Classic Fountain Pens.
The softness of the color shows off the elegant simplicity of the clipless design. Nakaya pens can be filled with bottled ink using the provided converter and can also use Platinum brand cartridges. Hand-painted Maki-e converters are also available.
Nakaya pens are individually handcrafted in a process that requires a minimum of three to six months and often much longer.
