The faceted Kaku-Tate is perhaps the most unique pen design produced by Taccia, and certainly one of the most appealing - the underlying base color of the natural urushi lacquer is able to break through at each of the twelve facets on this pen.
The 14k solid gold nibs are specially produced for Taccia by Sailor Pens of Hiroshima, renowned for the quality and variety of their nibs. The pens also use Sailor's convenient cartridge-converter filling system - they can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter, and can also use Sailor brand disposable ink cartridges.
Each pen ships in a special wooden presentation box which also includes a colorful cloth pen kimono. We are an authorized Taccia dealer.
