Eboya Hakobune Small Tanshin Red C/C
The Eboya Hakobune Small Tanshin Red fountain pen perfectly exemplifies the streamlined design styles of this Tokyo-based artisanal pen manufacturer. Each pen is hand-crafted in a time intensive process, and wait times of over two years are common - we strongly suggest ordering in-stock pens when you have the opportunity!
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts the German-made Bock 14k nib to your personal writing preferences, and our optional nib customizations can provide for added character in your writing on the page. We are the first U.S. company to have been named an Eboya authorized retailer.
Each Eboya pen is hand-turned from ebonite stock, then polished and fitted with nib and feed. Ebonite is a classic material for quality fountain pens, and many vintage ebonite pens are still everyday working writing instruments a hundred years or more after their original manufacture.
This is the cartridge-converter version of the Hakobune Small - it can refill with any international size disposable ink cartridge, such as those we offer from Kaweco, J. Herbin, and Pelikan. When fitted with the reusable converter, provided by us free of charge with your order, it can also use any bottled fountain pen ink.
