Hand-finished in a process utilizing centuries-old techniques, the Taccia Natural Reserve - The Aquatic Limited Edition Sapphire River, along with the companion Coral Sea pen, is being produced in just fifty numbered pieces worldwide. The pen is equipped with your choice of 14k solid gold nib produced specially for Taccia by the Sailor Pen Company.

Wajima-jinoko, or Wajima Earth, is the soil traditionally used in the production of urushi lacquerware on the west coast of Japan. For this pen, the soil has been baked and combined with layers of urushi lacquer to create the unique textured surface of this pen, inspired by the patterns of stingray leather.
The pen can be filled using either Sailor brand disposable ink cartridges or with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter.
