The mixture of helium, hydrogen, and methane in Uranus' atmosphere causes this seventh planet from the sun to absorb the red light from the sun but reflect back the blue, which is why this planet appears as a light azure in most astronomical images. Aurora captures this hue in the cellulose acetate body of this remarkable pen, which is provided with your choice of 18k solid gold nib in rose gold plating.
The large capacity piston-fill system allows the use of any bottled fountain pen ink. Each pen is individually hand assembled at the Aurora factory in Turin, and ships in a special presentation box which adds to its collectibility.
