Namiki Nippon Art Dragon with Cumulus
One of the most popular pens in the Namiki Nippon Art Collection, the Dragon With Cumulus offers a memorable hand-finished Maki-e design at a surprisingly affordable price.
The Namiki Nippon Art Dragon with Cumulus has been created in Hira Maki-e technique by members of the Kokkokai artisan group and is provided with your choice of #10 solid gold 14k nib.
This stunning Nippon Art Series fountain pen portrays the dragon emerging from a roiling cumulus cloud. The combination of cumulus clouds with the dragon represents power and good fortune.
Gold and other metallic powers are applied to create the shapes and colors of this design - the resulting low relief creates a motif that can be felt as well as seen.
Nippon Art pens are supplied with the larger size CON-70 converter, giving these pens an ink capacity rivaling that of many piston-fillers.
Namiki 14k gold nibs are well-suited to customizations including Stub, Cursive Italic, or Left Oblique, as well as the modification for added flex.
