I recently purchased a second-hand Amber M250 with a Fine nib.  It was scratchy, and besides, I prefer fat nibs.  I got really lucky and found a Double Broad nib here (you can't find these anywhere, anymore).  I decided since I was so lucky to get this wonderfully fat nib, I wouldn't have it stubbed.  Instead I just had it expertly tuned by Gena, here at CFP.  And I am in heaven about this pen now!  I put the new BB nib in and pushed the ink down.  Tried it out on the paper, and it laid down tons of ink and brought out incredible  shading.  It makes my handwriting look better.  I realized I was meant to write with extra-fat nibs forevermore.   And on top of all that, the nib feels fantastic on the paper.  Since I got it, I have been using it off and on for about two days straight.  It's smooth, but not overly so; it has a really sweet little touch of feedback.  Perfect.  I  never tire of writing with this pen, until my hand just wears out from writing so much.  I am ecstatic about the excellent job Gena did tuning this BB nib.  Keep it up, Gena!
