At just over 5 1/2" long when capped, and with a barrel diameter of a full 1/2", the pens in this series are slightly larger than standard. This will be a comfortable fit for most users, and a versatile choice in black. All Pelikan Souverän pens, including this M800 are piston-fillers, able to to be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink.
