Sailor King of Pen Bordeaux Urushi
Part of Sailor's exclusive Bespoke Collection, the King of Pen Bordeaux Urushi fountain pen comes standard with a 21k solid gold rhodium-plated King of Pen nib.
The King of Pen is well-known as Sailor's more than full-sized fountain pen, comparable in size to the Montblanc 149. With its deep burgundy finish and rhodium trim, the Bordeaux Urushi is as rich as a full-bodied wine.
This is a pen with a large presence. Its rounded cap ends and streamlined shape provide excellent balance in the hand, and the Sailor 21k nib is renowned for its smooth writing capabilities. The King of Pen is handcrafted from ebonite and then finished with up to twelve coats of rich Urushi lacquer. Urushi lacquer has been used as a decorative material since Japan's Jomon period (2000 years ago).
Sailor's King of Pen Bordeaux Urushi fountain pen comes packaged in a wooden presentation box and includes a complimentary bottle of ink. The pen accepts either a standard Sailor converter or Sailor's cartridges.
