Waterman Carene Glossy Red
With its semi-metallic red finish and bright rhodium trim, the Waterman Carene Glossy Red fountain pen is a vibrant writer. Although it may look like a cherry red color, the lacquer appears more of a pearlized fuschia-red in person. In French Carene means to incline to one side, like a ship under sail. Looking at the Carene from a side view, you can see the way its uniquely tapered shape appears to mimic a leaning boat. The curvaceous spring-loaded rhodium clip adds to the feeling of motion, as does the racy red color.
