Danitrio Genkai Shu-dame
The Danitrio Genkai in Shu-dame Tame-nuri is a very large eyedropper filler with a generous ink capacity. Shu-dame finish shows off the attractive cylindrical contours of this pen.

This is a formidably sized pen, but still proves a comfortable fit for those with larger hands.
As the natural urushi matures, the outer layer becomes more transparent and the underlying color shows through more brightly. The differences between Tame-nuri colors can be subtle, especially when a pen is newly lacquered. As with most Danitrio pens, the Nuri-shi (Urushi lacquer artist) signs the barrel end of the pen in gold kanji lettering. The character in red is a traditional mark used by artisans to identify their work.
These 18k nibs are well-suited to customizations such as Cursive Italic and Left Oblique.
