The Eboya Ricchiku Medium Kaze Blue-Green is made from hand-crafted ebonite hard rubber and is available with your choice of 14k solid gold Bock nib.

The pen ships in a simple presentation box and includes a converter and starter ink cartridge.


A slightly smaller cousin to the Ricchiku Large, the Eboya Ricchiku Medium Kaze Blue-Green fountain pen offers the same fine craftsmanship in a pen that will be a more comfortable fit for those with smaller hands.

Created from sustainably harvested ebonite hard rubber and and hand-turned by skilled artisans to resemble the notched contours of natural bamboo, this is both a highly practical everyday fountain pen as well as a distinctive art object. 

 The creation of hand-crafted ebonite pens is an extremely time intensive process - each Eboya fountain requires at least six months to be produced. Ebonite is the classic material for quality fountain pens, and many vintage ebonite pens are still in everyday usage decades after being originally produced. Eboya also serves as the supplier of ebonite hard rubber to most of the major Japanese pen manufacturers.


The Ricchiku can be used either posted or unposted. Note the hollow barrel end which facilitates easy and secure posting.

The swirling marbled patterns of the surface are unique to each individual pen - no two pens will ever be exactly alike. The Eboya company considers the slight changes in color that will occur over time to be part of the natural seasoning process for this pen. Care should be taken, however, to avoid prolonged periods of exposure to extreme heat or direct sunlight, as these can lead to premature fading.

"Eboya - Made In Tokyo" is engraved on the ebonite barrel of each Eboya fountain pen.
