As with any pen you purchase from us, the Yokoajiro #10 Torafu qualifies for our complimentary nib set-up and optimization services. Platinum's 18k solid gold nibs also provide an excellent starting point for many of our nib customizations.
The term Torafu is derived from torafudake, tiger-spotted bamboo, and each pen has been individually hand-crafted utilizing traditional techniques. Bamboo is cut, dyed, hand-applied to the cap and barrel, and then finished with a layer of natural urushi lacquer.
Each Bamboo Weaving pen ships in a special paulownia soft wood presentation box and includes a pen kimono and complimentary bottle of ink.
