The Sailor King of Pen Slate Blue Urushi is equally at home in the office, at home, or in an artist's studio. It is provided with your choice of Sailor 21k solid gold King of Pen nib in Medium or Broad, and we can also offer custom regrinds to finer nib sizes for a small additional charge.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts pressure and ink flow to your own personal preferences. Sailor 21k nibs also make excellent starting points for many of our exclusive nib customizations such Stub, Cursive Italic, and Architects Point.
Now available at a new lower price, Sailor's King of Pen Kaga Urushi series offers artisanally crafted ebonite body pens which have been hand-finished in natural urushi lacquer. The months-long completion process for each pen requires twelves different layers of urushi lacquer to be applied and then allowed to dry.
The pen can fill using any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter, and can also use convenient Sailor brand disposable ink cartridges, now available in over thirty different nuanced hues.
