The Sailor Barcarolle Matte Black Silver is a metal body pen utilizing the same smooth-writing 14k nibs provided in Sailor's popular 1911 Midsize and Pro Gear Slim series pens. The combination of a matte surface with cool rhodium trim gives this writing instrument a sophisticated modern appeal. Normally provided only in Fine or Medium, we are able to offer this pen with your choice from among the full line of Sailor 14k solid gold rhodium-plated nibs.
We consider the black surface of this pen more like an eggshell finish rather than matte.
