Part of Sailor's Samurai series, the motif on this pen depicts an island clash in the year 1612 between rival warriors Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki that resulted in triumph for Musashi but with Sasaki's miraculous survival from a near-fatal neck wound. Master artist Ikki Moroike uses used a variety of advanced Maki-e techniques and precious materials to bring this famous duel to life on the body of the pen.

The Sailor King of Pen can fill with any bottled fountain pen ink using the provided converter, and can also utilize Sailor brand cartridges. A special presentation box adds to the pen's value and collectibility. A beautiful fabric encloses the entire presentation box. We are an authorized Sailor Bespoke Collection retailer.
