The Pilot Vanishing Point has long been popular for its innovative ballpen-like click mechanism, which swiftly retracts or extends the nib. That feature is still available in the new LS series, but the nib can also be extended with a simple twist to the right, making these pens a perfect choice for fountain pen enthusiasts who want to combine the style and versatility of a fountain pen with an ease of use more familiar to ballpen users.
The innovative trapdoor mechanism keeps the nib protected when not in use and prevents dry-out. The pen can fill with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided converter, and can also use convenient, no-fuss Pilot brand disposable ink cartridges.
