The new Pilot Vanishing Point Blue Matte fountain pen combines metallic dark blue with black trim to create a study in rich indigo hues. The matte surface adds to the subtle, sophisticated appearance of this latest edition in the innovative and eminently practical Vanishing Point series.
The ballpoint-like click mechanism on the Pilot Vanishing Point Blue Matte fountain pen allows the nib to extend and retract, while a hidden trap-door mechanism guards against dry-out. Years of sophisticated engineering have gone into the design of this very reasonably-priced pen. The Pilot Vanishing Point is a cartridge-converter pen - it can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink using the provided converter, and can also use Pilot-Namiki brand ink cartridges. Extra nib units with converters are available and easily interchangeable at home.
